out with the old, in with the new

Wow. So can I just say that I'm sorry for epically failing on updating on things I'm thankful for? I knew I shouldn't have made a promise I couldn't keep.

Thanksgiving weekend was the busiest weekend of my life. Honestly - busier than any OBU Homecoming weekend I've ever experienced. Yes. It's true. All because of moving into a new apartment.

Moving is exhausting. It is tiring. It is annoying. It's dumb. It makes me wish we had portals. We could place something in the portal and it would magically appear in the place we want it to in the exact spot we want it in, turned in the exact angle we want it at. If only, if only...

On the topic of moving, most people like to adopt the phrase "Out with the old, in with the new." If you are one of those people, like me, then when moving you are always looking for new things to replace the old things. Like my shower curtain. I had a perfectly good shower curtain that I could have used in my new apartment. But noooo. I had to get a new shower curtain for my new apartment. I'm not sure why I think like this? But I can't help it. It's the way I'm wired.

So today, I want to share with you some new pieces you can use that are cute, trendy, and cheap!

This little treasure is only $19.99 at Pier 1 Imports!

What a great accent for your coffee table! and it's only $29.99!
