rant & rave wednesday

Believe it or not, I'm actually not in that bad of a mood. But some things over time have started ticking me off. So this post is just for me to get this off my chest.

First off, who said that if you wear any size above a large that you want to look like an 80-year-old woman? Granted, my grandmother is 85. And her style is impeccable. But unfortunately, I can't say the same for other women over the age of 80. I'm not really sure why all "plus size" (those two words make me want to throw up) clothes look like they are made for your grandmother or made for someone living in the 90s. Or someone who wants to look like they have NO taste in fashion whatsoever. There are SO many Web sites that have the cutest clothes. But the only sizes they carry are small, medium and large. And that, my friends, is the MOST FRUSTRATING feeling in the world. You might be thinking, "Why don't you just work to where you can start wearing a size large?" Ok, well I'm working on that. But in the mean time, I'd like to be able to find CUTE clothes. Please? Is that too much to ask for?

The ONE store that I will give all of the credit to is Forever 21 for having clothes above a size large that don't make me look older than I actually am. THANK YOU FOREVER 21!!!!!

And let it be known, that I'm not writing this for you to feel sorry for me. Or to tell me of all these other Web sites that there might be "cute plus size" (gag) clothes. I've searched the world wide web. There is nothing out there.

I actually have so many ideas for a clothing line. But like that would ever happen!!

Whew. Breathe.

Alright - secondly, It's MAY 11TH!!! This may not mean much to you....but it means a lot to me and my family. May 11th = FREEDOM. (if you are completely confused and can't stand not knowing what I'm talking about, just ask me)

I think that's all I have to say....for now anyway.
